This policy says what BrickBrack collects on this site, why, how long we keep it, who processes it, and how you can withdraw consent. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we are
BrickBrack is a brand-building company based in New Delhi, India. For this site, BrickBrack is the data fiduciary: we decide what personal data is collected and why.
What we collect
When you send the enquiry form: your name, your business name, the kind of business, your monthly marketing budget band, what you need, your WhatsApp number, your email address if you give it, and anything you write in the message box.
With the form, we also record the page you were on, the page that sent you here, and campaign tags from the link you arrived through, so we know which ad or post brought you in.
If you accept cookies, our analytics and advertising tools record how you use the site: pages viewed, time on page, the device and browser, and a cookie identifier. Nothing of this kind loads until you choose.
When you message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive what you send and the number or address you send it from.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, set up your free audit and, if you go ahead, run the Blueprint and the work that follows.
To measure our own advertising, so we know which ads bring in enquiries and which do not. This happens only with your consent.
To keep the site working and safe, which includes basic server logs and protection against spam.
Consent
We ask for consent in two places: the tick box on the enquiry form, which covers contacting you about your enquiry, and the cookie banner, which covers analytics and advertising measurement. Each is a separate choice.
You can withdraw either consent at any time. Use the Cookie settings link in the footer to change your cookie choice, or write to build@brickbrack.com to withdraw consent for your enquiry. Withdrawing consent stops future use of your data; it does not undo processing that already happened lawfully.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we are talking with you, and for up to 24 months after our last contact, so we can pick a conversation back up. After that they are deleted.
If you become a client, the details needed for the work and for our accounts are kept for as long as Indian law requires, then deleted.
Analytics and advertising data are kept by the providers below for the periods they set, which we show in the cookie settings.
Who processes it
Our email provider delivers the enquiry to us and sends you our replies.
Google Analytics measures how the site is used, only after you accept cookies.
Meta receives advertising measurement events, only after you accept cookies. When you send the enquiry form with consent, we also send Meta a hashed version of your number and email so the enquiry can be matched to the ad that brought you, without sharing the readable values.
A messaging service delivers the WhatsApp conversation. All of these providers act on our instructions and store data on their own infrastructure, some of it outside India.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
Write to build@brickbrack.com. We reply within the time the law allows, and usually much sooner.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses and the adults who run them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are announced on this page before they take effect.
